Missy Nerland is passionate about music and the cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. Based on her extensive experience working with children as a behavioral therapist, special education paraprofessional, Sunday School teacher, assistant director of Sunday School, daycare provider, reading tutor, Vacation Bible School teacher, homeschooling mom, and co-director of Med-City Homeschoolers, she strives to create a fun, informal, social setting that spurs engagement and supports each child's musical development.

Missy's musical background includes twenty years as a pianist, competition in music theory and ensemble festivals, and performances throughout Minnesota and Germany as a member of the musical group Menagerie.
